How to Make referrals To make a referral just contact us by phone to book an appointment for a formal assessment. The assessment process takes approximately 40 minutes with a tour of the building afterwards. There may also be an opportunity to talk to Service Users in residence who can tell you of their experience of treatment at Ark House. During the assessment you will be asked questions on the following subjects. Addiction history Current Medication and medical needs Criminal history Any diagnosis of mental illness Administrative details such as age, National Insurance Number, address and so forth. Disabilities and mobility issues After the assessment we may need to make additional contact (with your permission) with Social Services, Doctors and Probation Services. Subject to any and all issues being resolved and funding being in place a bed space is offered. We aim to do this as soon as possible to coincide with the discharge dates from detox where appropriate.

Self Funding

We offer a minimum six weeks treatment package at £420.00 per
week payable in advance of treatment. This is all inclusive of
counselling, lectures group work, food, board, and stationary. If the
individual takes 10 weeks or more to complete treatment then the
weekly rate drops to £380.00 per week because the treatment
regime is less counsellor intensive due to the greater time period.

Social Services Funding

You may be eligible for help from your local social services for
funding but different areas have different policies and some also
like to see some period of time of commitment from the individual  
before agreeing to funding. To find out about this call your local
social services or your local drugs and alcohol service. Your doctor
may also be able to help.
